Scholarship Awards

Now in its twelfth year, the APEX Outstanding Student Scholarship Award is given annually to two Asian American high school seniors who have demonstrated excellence not only in academics, but in community service as well. Awards of $1,000 and $500, which are to be used toward college tuition and/or expenses, go to first and second place recipients, respectively.

In order to be eligible for an award, applicants must be graduating high school seniors with a minimum 'B' grade average and demonstrate financial need. Applicants must also be currently participating or have in the past participated in one or more APEX programs (Mentoring or Education). Candidates will be evaluated based on the following areas:

  • Academic achievement
